    I'd like to nominate myself for the selectors position if Ged rightfully chooses to step down. I am not currently a selector for any of the BS clubs and thus I can devote my diligent selecting capabilities solely to QLD. I think the change will help spark a new interest in the team itself and hopefully rebuild QLD to be a winning team. I think Ged, regardless of the results QLD has witnessed, has served his term and the position should be rotated every few seasons to let everyone have a fair go. We shouldn't have to stand for dictatorship.

    Manera or myself should be given the job, I definitely think it should go to Manera for next season. This isn't a shot at Ged or his selection ways, but it's time for a change. The only bad thing is that it comes down to Ged/Cribb. And they are both fans of dictatorship.

    Maybe it's time for a selection committee who decide on the selector.

    I think the people (Qld players) should select the selector.

    It shouldn't be selected by the governing body ie (Cribb). This is why the referendum for becoming a republic failed.

    This thread does raise some valid points. And I do agree, a change of selector will make a whole lot of difference. It'll definitely make all the under-performing players play well and the change will just make Queensland match NSW because it just will.

    This idea is not logically flawed in anyway. One of your finest ideas Gemmell

    Not really. I think we definitely could of had a better team out there for all 3 games. So change isn't pointless, change will get a different team and hopefully different results.

    Sitting back and saying 'NSW are just too good' is ****ing stupid.

    You know what I mean, like, some people like 6 bowlers, and would change the team tohave the option, others are fine with having 4 gun bowlers as your tail, some prefer one being a bowling AR and sacrifice bowling depth for it, some prefer having a few ARs, some only one, you know what I mean.
