I'm actually usually pretty consistent. This was an odd series but in recent times I've been pretty good.
Actually haven't seen much of your selections but every now and then you mention something that seems pretty stupid and shiz and through the power of interwebz I cannot tell if it's sarcasm or not.
10 of his selections make sense. It is this one position which is due to his own personal preferences which is debatable. To increase the interest and reward the loyal QLD'ers, the seniour members should have a greater say. I thus think a selection committee of four or so guys should vote on the contentious decisions. A bilateral agreement between the committee should help to ensure the best side is picked. If Ged's selections are the best ones then the majority will agree and justice will prevail. Everyone just has to hope that the other members in the committee don't think exactly the same.
Yeah it is pretty harsh to say that you are regularly poor. It is a shame Elliott is playing in reggies. He would provide us with more batting and it would better justify having an extra bowling option.
Yeah. Ya see, I'd give up the position if there was someone who I felt could do a better job. I think that this thread has shown that that's not the case. It's change for the sake of change.
To reward Ged for his great efforts I think that the committee should only have four members and in the event of a tie, Ged's preference prevails.
Webber's decent. I don't think that Elliot would add much that Webber doesn't. Basically, I would never go in with a bowling allrounder at 7, keeper at 6 and 4 pure bowlers at 8-11. It's ****ing suicide.
I've asked you to come up with a suggestion of what I'm doing wrong and you said that you wanted Perry gone and Gee to bat 6...Despite the fact that Gee averages less in rep cricket than Perry and the fact that you're presumably pushing webber up to bat at 5.
Perry has had double the game time to get his origin average slightly higher than mine. I've been in great form the last 2 seasons, not to mention averaging 54.45 @ number 6 (one of the positions in question) this season. I'm probably just being biased though.
Because Queensland don't have anyone in the top order who can bowl, the keeper bats 6. So that's not really a 'position in question' unless you want the keeper to bat 5..
