It's going to be incredibly close for who will get to the knock out stages of the tournament. Basically, if the Spartans don't finish first, it'll be a massive shock. In terms of odds, the Vikings are in 2nd but only marginally ahead of the Sharks and Hurricanes. Probably whoever is more active out of those three teams might pull ahead, though if the Sharks can sign CCG, then they'll pull clear in 2nd - though certainly not far enough to guarantee them that place. The Gamblers will be a tough proposition at home and no easybeats. I suspect out of all the teams, they'll be hoping for rain as their forward pack matches any other team. The Crabs look like guaranteed spooners but they are looking better than I thought they might. In Speirs, Athlai and Phlegm they'll have some reasonable players in the back line.
Front row, Back Row = Excellent Second row, however... Should go well at the scrums against most teams, but the line out could be a problem without a specialist hooker and two average locks.
Some quick stats - the lower the score, the better. Best Packs Spartans: 26 Gamblors: 40 Sharks: 41 Vikings: 66 Hurricanes: 69 Crabs: 106 Best Back Line Hurricanes: 26 Spartans: 28 Sharks: 38 Vikings: 39 Crabs: 75 Gamblors: 81
Quite a bit better. Until I take into account your goal kicking... Fortunately, they have Julian at 15 who does that.
