All the same to me! Being injured or just not getting game time, no difs! Just eager to play, but obviously my eagerness gets me in the shit all the time.
The number of unsigned players is dwindling, but in case you want more bench strength (maybe due to injuries?!?) There is going to be reserve grade in the future so it makes sense to sign as many players as possible. It doesn't seem like any other clubs are doing anything to sign them so at least these people have a club.
Well there are currently 138 replies in the season 4 contracts thread. Assuming they are all actually contracts that is an average of 27.6 players per team. If we got 12 more players we would have 150 which means we could theoretically have a reserve grade competition if the bench players from first grade could play reserve grade as well. Season 5 won't be for ages so you could easily get 20 plus sign ups in that time.
Notsure spot on the money. And given the number of injuries that are clearly going to happen this season, you really need a bigger rather than a smaller squad. Plus, more players makes for a more active subforum and thus should make all of their players better. Can't see any drawbacks unless you sign a dropkick by accident. EDIT: And in fact there are more contracted players than have posted in the S4 Contracts thread as there's about 6-10 Crabs players who signed contracts on CricketWeb.
ANNOUNCEMENT: CoS PLEASE read the injuries thread before naming your lineups for the next round. 2 teams have submitted so far, and both have been included injured players (although one had actually read the thread, but had read the wrong posts). I don't want to hand out infractions for it as the number of injuries in Seasonal Rugby is vastly higher than Cricsim, but I will lose patience with repeat offenders.
Also, a few of our replacements are thoroughly dire, as showcased by the success in the reserve grade competition, we've picked up a couple of promising players who seem interested. No loss there.
