    So Dogs named a pretty lols team under this format with Hodko n Reynolds ahead of Sherwin and Anasta over the weekend got me thinking what Souths best would be.

    With the sides I reckon so long as the players were at your club during the time period its cool to take performances at other stages into account when deciding. Name your clubs best XVII of players....

    As above I've cut a couple of corners with Vagana, Tuqiri, Wing, Ross, Fletcher all having their best footy before 05 or at other clubs but more fun this way. Pretty epic team at peak of their careers

    Yeah if they were announcing a legit team of the decade I'd be leaving the blokes I mentioned at the end out in all likelihood just thought it was more fun to name it that way fwiw I'd have

    I'd put Anasta in over Maloney TBH. Yeah we weren't very successful and he was very hot and cold (like Maloney) but he was critical in changing the shit culture we had and also kicked the greatest field goal ever

    Fuck it's hard for Penrith, 05 is the winding down of Campbell-Gower-Wesser-Priddis-Waterhouse-Puletua and the beginning of a long run of mediocrity with the Lewis-Kingston-Gordon led era. Fullback and hooker the hardest to pick for mine, there's a case for Wesser, Gordon, Coote and Moylan.

    Anasta played like one season of the decade and Sherwin got raped by injury and form. Understandable omissions IMO. Maitua missing out is a bigger surprise for me.

    No way Time to poo was even close to Folau or even Yow Yeh.

    Also i think Ennis had far and away the best season for a Broncos hooker in 08. Likely his personal best season ever too.
