    Jimmy won 68-0 or some shit this week his team was great again. We got beaten 46-22 by the ladder leaders yesterday ended up playing 70 minutes or so cos we only had 9 fit first graders and our captain who's arguably the best player in our comp tore his medial and strained ACL so not ideal

    Not my league season, but went down and watched the local mob yesterday, had a draw. Takes them to 8 losses and 1 draw.

    Was tough to watch, didn't realise they'd been going that poorly, club had made the finals every year for like 5 seasons+ before this season. Crowd was about half what it usually is too.

    Too late, had to be signed up by June 30, but I wouldn't be coming back anyway. I'm just hoping that the cunt coaching/presidenting realises that he's got to get out of there. I copped a bit from some local blokes because it got around that a lot of us older heads aren't playing because of a disagreement about money, which isn't even nearly the case.

    Thing with port is that there's so many different sides.

    You have 3 grades at Breakers, 3 grades for us and they also have Hastings league pub comp on Saturdays which has heaps of blokes spread thru that used to play for us but get the same coin to captain these clubs on a Saturday in pub comp as to travel up to 3 hours on a Sunday arvo to play with us so that's why we're going back to Saturdays, means we get local Derbys with breakers and wauchope and should hopefully have a huge influx of numbers. We've only had a bare bones fg squad of 17 and we've got 8 of those injured so that's where we're fucked.

    That's pretty shit, sport is so much better on a Saturday arvo/eveing IMO. When I was vice prez I kept saying we should put in to change our games to mostly Saturdays but they reckon our crowds would suffer because juniors play saturday mornings.

    You get more blokes playing because it doesn't take up your whole weekend (we used to train friday night, saturday lunch then play sunday), you get better comradery within the team because you can all go get on the piss afterwards and you actually get fans back at the preso at the club, it's win win win win

    Got beaten by the side coming clearly 2nd last on the weekend, worst game we've played all season, and one of the worst games I'd been involved in for Sharks. Got beat 42-12 or some shit I made 3 trysavers in cover defence but got my 3rd prof. Foul Sin bin for the season :( on the last one slowing the play the ball

    Had a dream last night that I got picked up by the windsor wolves and was playing in the major semi for them, we were down by 4 with 20mins to go and I was put on in the backrow. Knocked on twice over the line, once on the first tackle and then missed a tackle for them to score the match winner.

    that's about the closest I've got to a game this year.

    I remember coming off and the coach telling me that I hadn't put ball grip on me hands before I went out and to not worry about it.


    Fucking shit dream to have though, who the fuck dreams about fucking up like that. Should've been plotting field goals in womens lingerie footy or something.

    Got beaten 52 - 26 on the weekend against Macleay, played ok myself but we got absolutely flogged 3 of the 4 tries came after they got to 50. Got 3 games left unless a massive turnaround occurs we're fucked for the finals.

    Played Union on the weekend in reserve grade as well with one of my best mates for a bit of fun and worked out of I play next 3 rounds I can play finals for them cos I'll be qualified. Shittest quality lol, played in the centres and scored a try and set up one which was alright

    and i need some advice im 14 playing league and have had 4 contract offers for development squads wa reds sydney roosters [due to them having a deal with the club i play for having to let 2 kids from my team in there squad] and manly and central coast centurions [one i will mostly take so i can play with my mates] i dont know which one would have the best pathway for me into harold mats sg ball etc
    lend some words of wisdom my way [btw i play second row or centre]

    You're 14 so play where your mates play because the more fun you have the more you'll want to work hard which will make you a better player, Centurions feeds to Knights ATM as well in a way I'd think so if you went well there they could pick you for matts 16's or SG Ball 18's
