Locked in for me. And I don't care if Gallen "doesn't like" playing prop; that's where he's playing, mainly to avoid him drifting wider and over-playing his hand in backline sweeps like he does for the Sharks. Burgess has ended up on the fringes due to this but I think he handles it better and just runs lines out there rather than trying to ball-play.

Inglis is obviously in the side too, but I'm undecided whether to play him at left centre or fullback.

Lewis and Sinfield are both very unlucky but I rate Bird slightly ahead of them and I think there's only room for one of their type in the side. Sinfield's arguably not really enough of a real forward to play in the back row in a side like this anyway, and he's also in competition with Gidley for his spot, but he's 18th man basically.

I've controversially not inked Cronk in because I'd be pretty open to Carney playing instead.

No idea who to stick on the wings tbh, or even the extra centre if Inglis ends up at fullback. England don't really have anyone worth considering in the outside backs at the moment but Nightingale comes into contention here, as does Inu (*runs*).

 

Haha gun, really similar to what I went through.

 

Roby probably is fractionally better at that role, but I think it's only very marginal, and Gidley offers cover in other positions. I loathe to pick "the utility" and I treat the position more as a bench dummy half, but Gidley's utility value is worth something when the players are close in ability for that primary role.
