The fact that almost everyone is picking Nightingale or Boyd or even both (which I tend to agree with though) just shows how ordinary the wingers are these days compared to the wingers in the past.

Roby has been injured for most of this year. Was one of the best in Superleague last year though. He is the only thing keeping St Helens respectable nowadays.

Nah, it just shows how much CricSim seems to value wingers who hold their own in defence.

    Jennings on the wing !!!!

I didn't even bother trying to argue that.

A lot. They show the games on Euro Sport on Foxtel. He's a talented player. Doesn't deserve a spot in the 13.

Not exactly as if there's a great amount of wingers running around atm. Jennings is a better centre than wing (obviously) but I'd still rate him on the wing over guys like Tate/Boyd. The only thing I'd open to is moving Hayne to wing and Slater to fullback but I rate Hayne as a better fullback.

I tend to look at these threads with who I'd want playing formmynclub.

wouldn't touch nightingale with a 10 foot pole tbh.

If it's a team you want based on how much you like watching them, would be so different.

With my side, I don't need more than 1 specialist prop on the bench.
Gallen will play close to 80 mins, and Scott/Graham also play long stints. There is also ample cover in Myles, Burgess and Parker can all play prop/lock/back-row if required.

Bird to go on late in the halves to create opportunities on the fringes.

Slater and Stewart offer great support play and speed, both have a good leap for the high ball too.

I'd consider swapping Hayne and Inglis throughout the match, or benching Hayne and playing Williams in the centres with Inglis at the back.

I've gone Cherry-Evansover Cronk. Because the backrowers I've selected wont be looking to put thier head down and run into holes as much as attracting defenders/offloading or simply running over the top of their opposition. Putting his wide runners into holes is Cronk's biggest strength IMO, however, kicking game aside, I think he lacks in most other areas when compared to Cherry-Evans. I think Cherry-Evans' style will suit my team much more.

Slater is rubbish under the high ball.
