Losing to a 14-man Souths team with no halves is a new low for the Roosters.

Its honestly impressive how much self-inflicted damage the NRL does. The high tackle sin binnings this week and overall officiating have been disgraceful. Its so bad to watch compared to 10 years ago.

Origin and finals matches are going to be destroyed by this crap...again.

Appears that they've been told to bin the first high shot of each team, and penalise every tap above the shoulder for the rest of the game. It's so lame. It's also roulette to see what high contact they decide to penalise. There's going to be a lot of milking this year. Players will feel anything to the head or face and will feign injury.

Also, some of the sloppiest tries have been awarded this week after the Leota controversy. I didn't think that should be a try, or the Tuipolotu or the Arthurs tries.

late to the party on this one but it absolutely cost them this match.

it’s weird to see Cleary/Penrith making some really poor decisions.

have thought as much since I first saw him play

Think everyone's panicking about nothing with Penrith. They've played like shit and still were in positions to win each game. The Alamotti no try and Leota no try turn both those games.

They're definitely far weaker, but I think Edwards coming back makes a huuuge difference, Laurie's been bad positionally. Also think Cole at 5/8th is the wrong choice, he's a bit of a robot and I feel like Talagi or even Laurie would be a better copy of Luais style.

Getting To'o back will be important too with the weaker pack and backlonr, and though I don't really rate Sorenson, he's a lot tidier than Papalii.

I've seen a few 2020 GF esque panics when they're chasing, and there's a ton of passengers, but I still think they'll end up comfortably in the 8 if they just chill out a bit.

    Yeah agree.

I think Laurie or Talagi at 6 will go a long to alleviating a few current problems.

  8. Toolman TR Man

Even with wingers and centres out they still haven't used Talagi? Very odd. And yeah their goalline defence has fallen to pieces without Dylan Edwards at the back.

  9. Toolman TR Man

He was plain garbage last year but he's started to show some potential this year. As a 2nd string running playmaker to partner Sam Walker, he might turn out well.

Yeah Riff are cooked. Too many passengers and they deadset look like they've all met for the first time in the car park pre game.

Old mate had two centres playing on the wings, a winger playing centre, a centre playing at 6 and a playmaker playing bench hooker. No wonder they're confused.

Sounds weird, but I Think they need to keep Alamotti on the wing. Centres are total rubbish, but his carries out of trouble are good, he and To'o can hopefully contribute to getting a role on. Pigs just aren't looking up to it. Probably need to tinker with rotations too, bit more from Leota perhaps.

No idea what's getting around Reggie's outside of Kepoa, dont think Laurie out there would solve anything. Dont know if maybe someone had Paul Momirovskis number. Geez the backs are bad.

Also half a mind to stick Tago in reggies or the bench into the backrow. Cunt ambles around like he's Inglis. All a bit of a shambles suddenly. All so side to side

    Maybe something like

    1. Edwards
    2. To'o
    3. Jenkins
    4. Tago /Garner
    5. Alamoti
    6. Talagi
    7. Clearly
    8. Leota
    9. Kenny
    10. Henry
    11. Sorenson
    12. Martin
    13. Yeo

    14. Laurie
    15. Garner/Tago
    16. Smith
    17. Papalii

O'Brien has gotta be on shaky ground. Fuck me Newcastle are toilet. Scoring 10 points in 3 weeks is horrendous in this day and age.

6mil over 6 years is mental for Galvin. Cunt's been dropped too. lol

  15. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

If Brown is worth 13m, Galvin is absolutely worth 6m.

Good on Tigers for dropping him. It's not gonna cost them a premiership, he's on sweet fuck all cash. They need to be trying to trade him to beef up their side where they need it, and run with Luai/Fainu.

  16. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

Cleary might be reading my posts. Garner named at centre, Tago bench, Alamoti stays on the wing

  17. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

Apparently Luai and Koroisau said to drop him, Benji was going to name him

  18. Magic AJ Parker

I thought it was very odd when they re-signed Tago for 800k. Talagi was also a really odd signing for mine.

Yeah but Brown isn't worth that. And neither is Galvin.

Think maybe they regret not throwing that kind of money at Crichton and shit themselves a bit with Tago.

There's been some weird calls with Cleary. Wests signings were disastrous, May in centres 2020, went hard at Charlie Staines early, replacing Fisher Harris with an edge back rower in Papalii.

They obviously can't replace the genuine guns with like for like players, but there has been the odd questionable call on who to retain and who to let go.
