    Instead of wasting their time with the roll the ball crackdown which has only resulted in several pointless penalties, maybe they should do something about attackers holding on to a defender's jersey so they can't get back in line in time. It's clear cut cheating, everyone can see it, the defender constantly has to karate chop at the arm to get free, nothing's done about it.

    I wonder if that play will get Mariner back into the side. There was a point last week too where Shibasaki was put into a hole and made a clean break then looked like he was in quick sand. Mariner scores from there IMO.

    Walsh out for 4-6 weeks so I imagine Mariner will go to wing with Cobbo at fullback. Hunt was fucking diabolical last night, was great to see Madge basically hook him to play 9.

    Definitely the most erratic opening 6 rounds I can remember. One team with perfect consistency and everyone else is a total hodge podge. The manner in which the Storm and Titans lost this week was absolutely bizarre.

    All this bullshit about defenders having a duty of care to go lower and then when they do they get a knee to the face and there's no appropriate punishment.

    Probably part of the reason the comp has been all over the place so far. The Dogs lost the game themselves with their shit defence and not playing to the conditions, but the sin binnings made it impossible for them to come back.
