I'm actually looking at getting some headphones. Can anyone recommend me a good one for around the $100 - $150 price range that block out outside noise? Mainly to be used for flights.
I have a mate who has some, he brought them to school one day, about 5 people said he just had them to show off.....he's never come to school with them since.
This. http://www.head-fi.org/t/478568/mul...-vsonic-gr99-gr02-bass-edition-added-06-11-12 Here's a quick comparison of 242 IEMs. http://www.head-fi.org/t/478568/mul...gr02-bass-edition-added-06-11-12#post_6492059 Quick comparison table there. I can highly recommend the Meelec A161p IEMs for anyone who's looking for a more neutral sound signature. http://www.meelec.com/MEElectronics_A161P_Balanced_Armature_Earphone_p/ep-a161p-bk-mee.htm That being said, the type of headphone you're after is entirely dependent on the sound signature you're after. Bass isn't the focal point of most of the music I listen to hence I don't really need a powerful, booming low end but if you're into hip hop, dance music etc then what you're after will be completely different to what I'm after.
http://head-direct.com/Products/?act=detail&id=101 (these ones will need an amp to get the best out of them). http://www.meelec.com/MEElectronics_A161P_Balanced_Armature_Earphone_p/ep-a161p-bk-mee.htm (these are the ones I'm using atm, probably closer to your budget and won't need an amp to run). Those are 2 I'd recommend if you want a more neutral sound signature.
