    Will be interesting to see if Nady has managed to find some middle ground between his over-inflated opinion of Manly players and the 5 million dollar salary cap so he can get the whole Manly team.

    I was hoping he would literally send a bid in for Manly's top 25 so that when he didn't actually get them all we could wind him up by saying it proved Manly must be cheating the cap to do so.

    As in his salary cap. I think he just means that he's bid on too many good players and therefore not bid enough of any of them. Which I think is probably what you mean by "quality" :p

    Sealed bid auction is a killer. The person with the most inflated values of players should actually have the best outcome, assuming they get at least some of their low tier bids.

    Yeah it's perhaps better to pay 1.5x what a player is worth and get him than waste a massive chunk of your cap on bids you get literally 0 return on.

    Guess it depends on how you value the stars of the game compared to the rest though, or indeed how big a gap you think the sim will have between the stars and the solid players, and then again between the solid players and the shunts.
