Who's got one? I've been thinking of buying a tablet for a little while now. I don't really need it to be an ipad but I've been glancing at some cheaper options. Local Aldi just got a stock of onyx 7" for $99 which I imagine would do the trick. For any of you that have a tablet/Ipad do you find you use it much? And what's the best tablet to use windows on.
I've got an iPad and I find I use it more than I thought I would. It's great for web surfing and I've even started doing documents and spreadsheets on Pages and Numbers so I don't constantly need to be at my desk. If you're looking for a smaller 7-inch tablet, I'd go for the Nexus 7. It feels great in the hand and runs really well. Plus being a Nexus device, you'll always be assured of the latest firmware from Google. With running Windows on a tablet, I can only think of the new Microsoft Surface that runs Windows 8 RT. I've heard it can be a bit pricey though.
I've only used on for light recreational use. We've got two at home, one that's my dad's and one that the rest of us use, and get quite good use out of. I think it's probably worth getting a fairly decent one if you're going to do it though, rather than a cheap shitty one.
Bought and iPad two weekends ago because I saved $80 through some employee discount at Big Dubz, love it. Been eying one for a while for uni but its tops. Very convenient.
Had the original Galaxy Tab, never used it because my Galaxy S2 was better. I would definitely go for the Nexus 7 now though. Wouldn't even consider any other tablet.
This is funny because I got given a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1" today for winning a competition. Will report back.

Nice. I never win anything good. Best thing I've won is probably a frisbee from a colouring competition I did when I was 6. My mum helped me do it too Maybe they did show and you just suggested the wrong type of cat food
